Distribuído por seis pisos, o projeto incide sobre a reabilitação do histórico edifício do antigo Bristol Club, respeitando a sua memória e valor patrimonial, ao mesmo tempo que o adapta a um novo programa hoteleiro.
As áreas comuns reinterpretam a atmosfera original do edifício, através do uso de madeiras, mármores, boiseries e tetos trabalhados, evocando a sofisticação associada aos antigos Gentleman’s Clubs. Estes espaços assumem uma linguagem marcada pelo cuidado no detalhe e pela valorização dos elementos existentes, em diálogo com a história do lugar.
O bar e o restaurante desenvolvem ambientes de carácter intimista e clássico, onde a composição espacial e a materialidade reforçam a identidade do conjunto. No restaurante, mantêm-se esculturas originais do escultor modernista Leopoldo de Almeida, integradas no espaço como elementos patrimoniais de referência.
A entrada do hotel é marcada pela presença de um painel de azulejos do artista Vhils, dedicado a Cosme e Damião, que introduz uma dimensão artística contemporânea ao percurso de chegada e estabelece um diálogo direto com a memória e a identidade simbólica do edifício.
Os pisos superiores acolhem os quartos, definidos por uma linguagem mais contida, com tons claros, mobiliário desenhado à medida e pavimentos em madeira disposta em espinha, numa referência a meados do século XX.
As casas de banho, revestidas integralmente a azulejo vermelho incardine e com ferragens douradas, reforçam a identidade singular do projeto, que articula património, arte e uma abordagem contemporânea numa unidade hoteleira de carácter marcadamente identitário.

Distributed over six floors, the project focuses on the rehabilitation of the historic building of the former Bristol Club, respecting its memory and heritage value while adapting it to a new hotel program.
The common areas reinterpret the building’s original atmosphere through the use of wood, marble, boiseries, and ornate ceilings, evoking the sophistication associated with old Gentleman’s Clubs. These spaces are characterized by careful attention to detail and the enhancement of existing elements, engaging in a dialogue with the history of the place.
The bar and restaurant create intimate and classic environments, where spatial composition and materiality reinforce the identity of the whole. In the restaurant, original sculptures by the modernist sculptor Leopoldo de Almeida are preserved and integrated into the space as key heritage elements.
The hotel entrance is marked by a tile panel by the artist Vhils, dedicated to Cosme and Damien, which introduces a contemporary artistic dimension to the arrival experience and establishes a direct dialogue with the building’s memory and symbolic identity.
The upper floors house the rooms, defined by a more restrained language, with light tones, custom-designed furniture, and herringbone wood floors, referencing mid-20th-century design.
The bathrooms, fully clad in incardine red tiles with golden fixtures, further reinforce the project’s unique identity, which articulates heritage, art, and a contemporary approach in a hotel unit with a distinctly individual character.
